A farm holiday - we're all going on a summer holiday…

A time of plenty - A family holiday on the farm
Ancient farming traditions are still alive in the Lammer Valley today. This means that the region has become a place of nostalgia. A farm holiday in summer is a very special experience: an array of colourful flowers waving their heads in the wind, the animals up on the alpine pastures and on the farms, the deep-blue gentian and the alpine rose blooms will warm the cockles of your heart.
A holiday full of joy - hiking in the Province of Salzburg in Austria
A bustle of activity: the rucksacks are packed with home-made delicacies, the walking boots laced up and in the evening you meet up to swap stories. An overnight stay at an alpine inn or a full-moon hike are charming highlights of the Lammer Valley.
The Postalm - the largest alpine pasture in Austria
| The Postalm is still used as alpine pasture - summer grazing meadows, as in years gone by. At the beginning of June over one hundred farmers from the Lammer Valley herd their cattle up to the pastures. In this nature and hiking paradise you'll be spoiled at the numerous mountain inns with their own farm produce. | Postalm PanoramaInteractive Panoramic map with alpine pastures and peaks. |
